Science Department


For students pursuing degrees in Science, Engineering, Medicine, Information and Computer Systems, science at H2 level provides a foundation for their undergraduate studies. 

For students pursuing other degrees, science, even at the H1 level, gives them an understanding of the principles and limitations of the various sciences. 

The A-Level Science subjects are Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Students reading these subjects can choose from two levels of study: H1 or H2. Science at H1 level covers a subsection of the H2 theoretical syllabus, but in equal depth. Science at H2 level covers more topics than at H1, including a hands-on component in the form of experimental techniques for laboratory work.
