MOE Announcement on Home-based Learning from 1 April

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, schools have implemented a strict regime of precautionary measures to keep our students safe. To better support safe distancing, schools will progressively transit to a blended learning model, while continuing to remain open.

As announced last Friday by MOE, schools will introduce one day a week Home-based Learning (HBL) from Wednesday, 1 April 2020.  JCs will be conducting HBL every Friday.

This one day a week HBL arrangement allows students and parents to be better prepared for more days of HBL, should the situation call for it.

MOE has further enhanced our precautionary measures to include continued suspension of CCAs for the rest of Term 2. Click here (go.gov.sg/moe-hbl) for more information.

The college will give detailed instructions regarding HBL to our students soon. We seek your continued support to remind our children to practise good personal hygiene at home.  Keep them safe by encouraging them to head home immediately after school.

Thank you and stay safe.
